We all want to look our best, and dress fashionably. But fashion does not mean “expensive clothes” nor does it have to mean “name brand”. Fashion for me is all about expressing yourself and wisely managing your clothing collection. An example of affordable, but the timeless piece is a pair of jeans – you can get wholesale trousers like this for pennies.
I am fully convinced that you can’t have a fashionable clothing collection without a pair of jeans or other wholesale trousers. However, we all know that it can be hard balancing the current jeans trends with the need for comfort. However, the crucial rule of buying jeans, no matter what’s their cut, style and material, is this: If you aren’t sure what’s your actual size, you should always go with the larger size – the jeans will shrink after the first wash. Some jeans come preshrunk – you could focus on them.
Look at your wardrobe – if you own at least five pairs of jeans, enough to wear them daily, consider buying a glue gun. It will make your stitches and hems so much easier, it’s inexpensive and you will save time decorating your denim pants with things like patches or sequins. Remember, though, that before any alterations you should consult a tailor. If you want to put some new hems, they should end slightly above the tops of your shoes.
And speaking of tailors, consider your jeans tailored. There’s a good reason why tailored clothes are a symbol of sophistication – they will fit you perfectly. A few inches of cuts and alteration will make a massive difference, so don’t hesitate to visit your tailor from time to time or make the alterations yourself. You don’t have to have to have all your clothes made especially for you, just alter the clothes you have bought. Just find a good tailor – it will make the whole process much easier.
