In December, Tim and I enjoyed a 7-day cruise of the Eastern Caribbean on the Holland America Eurodam ship.

We’ve done this cruise for the past few years during the month of December. The Holland America line is Carnival’s premium cruise line (one notch above their Princess line) and we enjoy both a balcony and the ability to bring as much wine and champagne on board as you can carry (or, in our case, wheel in rolling luggage). Tim has the packaging perfected.

During the Sail-Away party, I won the limbo contest. I was chosen because I did a perfect limbo in high heels while holding a glass of champagne. P.S. I didn’t spill a drop.

We signed up for the Mixology course aboard the ship. For those who aren’t familiar, it’s a VERY FUN course made up of 3 sessions where you are hands-on for making delicious concoctions of martinis and fancy drinks.

Each day you make 3 drinks. Of course you get to drink everything…and if you guess the trivia question before the others, you’ll even get a bonus drink. P.S. I got the following question right and earned myself a bonus drink…

“What’s the ship’s drink of the day?”

I yelled out “Fashionista!”.  Of course I’d remember that one!

I also made some great friends during the course…and guess what? I passed! (I’m second from the right).By now, I bet you’re thinking that all I did was drink. Not true! I also ate:

Unfortunately, the time flies by and pretty soon you’re saying good-bye.

P.S. This little performer, Indy, was part of the show. I think he says good-bye much better than I.
